Bonjour, mon ami! How are you today?
Yes, I'm angry and sad and excited and joyful and all over the fucking place. I must ride the rollercoaster of life. There's no way to escape it.
During the (#RideOfLife) there are a lot of apologies, a lot of shame, a lot of tears, and a lot of growth. I'm fucking exhausted. Aren't you?!
Psychological and emotional growth is tedious. It's like working out at the gym. If you don't do (#ALittleEachDay) it's harder to start again. So the easiest thing is to do a little each day to help you let go of your past and grow into your future.
The hardest part is letting go. Letting go of our past selves, the way we used to think about the world and about ourselves, is necessary for evolutionary growth. Growth leads to an actualized good person who feels good about themselves.
You do not need to deny your past. But you do need to learn from it and stop making the same mistakes.
It's hard to admit you made a mistake.
It's hard to apologize for the mistake.
It's hard dealing with the shame created by the mistake (#Fuck).
But we're human and we are bound to make mistakes so that we learn and grow (#Evolution). It's part of life. The more you deny your growth, the more pain you will experience.
