Kindness Wins

Bonjour, mon ami! How are you today?

Always treat the person in front of you as if you are speaking to a program, a lens. All people are programmed to be a specific kind of person; by their parents, by their community, by their society.

If you are lucky, you were never programmed. But most of us are at a young age because we do not know how we are as souls yet. As a child, you are a blank slate. The environments and people around you shape you as a person. Every trauma or intense emotion you've experienced shapes you. That's how we learn as humans. Something hurts and we learn not to do that ever again, or to adjust the equation.

If you are around toxic people, you will be a toxic person. No strength in will can help you. We are a product of our environment. It's the way we learn and adapt. It's the way we survive.

No matter how highly evolved we become, we will always have an animalistic inside our base brain. The natural side is driven by emotion and ebbs and flows in energy. We may never know how to turn it off completely. But we can master our base brain by practicing kindness.

Kindness always wins. If someone is rude to you, show them that they can't get to you by being kind. Set a hard boundary to protect yourself, but be kind.

There's no shame in kindness. There's no misunderstanding of kindness. (#KindnessWins)

Yours Truly,
