Bonjour, mon ami! How are you today?
Every time someone I know dies, I reassess and rethink how I can live my life better. I started this blog because life is heavy and joyful all at once, all the time (#LifeGoesOn). There are so many hopeful wonderful things in my life that I celebrate every day (#Family), but there is also the hard realization that all the pain of generations past is healing within me (#Pressure). My personality is a combination of childhood conditioning, societal pressure, and my brain's chemical make-up. I only pray that the combination assigned to me remains to be (#Blessed).
We all have our stuff, heavy stuff (#TraumaIsNotABadge). The generations before were taught to suppress, suppress, suppress...to the point where they almost forgot the trauma they experienced and they normalized lying to themselves and to others for the sake of protecting the younger generations of former evils (#WeAreNotOurAncestors, #WeAreEvolving).
Now that the older generations that lived through world wars, racism, capitalism, and every evil you could ever think of in the last 100 years are dying due to natural causes or due to complications from COVID. With each death, secrets of the family are revealed or people learn a little bit more about themselves and why they are the way they are. Some of us knew who we were all along, some of us forgot who were and rediscovered our souls again (#ChildrenHeal, #ChildrenAreMirrors).
Millennials: We as adult children are now raising our children during the pandemic and in an attempt to keep family traditions alive, we morph the good patterns into our own modern traditions and dispose of the things that traumatized us or that marginalized us or that no longer serve us as an evolving society.
We create and define our own definitions of good and evil. We do not need permission to be awesome, we simply are awesome. We are not special little snowflakes who cannot handle bad news. Instead, we are a flurry of accountability who support each other through sharing knowledge (#WinterIsComing). The only people shaking in their boots are the assholes who subscribed to the Devil's ways of lying, cheating, and stealing to get ahead in life; the very patterns that supported the evils of our pasts (#Slavery, #Genocide, #Oppression, #Capitalism).
Every story and every fact must be questioned. Every historic narrative must be re-examined. Every story of origin must be investigated. The previous generations lied to us and normalized lying because they were not evolved enough to understand the benefits of therapy, meditation, spirituality, and unconditional love for all.
Many "leaders" of the past fucked us up more with their religious beliefs disguised as spirituality. That is why I have always been split in two spiritually. I grew up with Christian beliefs, but the people who used them often abused them to promote evil. I can't get down with that.
I will always yearn to believe the pretty big-little lies that were told to me, but I have always known the truth whenever an authority figure in my life could not hold up to objective questioning (#AlwaysAskWhy, #IndependentThinker).
We live in a world where we are constantly bombarded by messages about how to be (#MoreConditioning) instead of listening to our inner voice (#God). The wiring can get confusing sometimes, but just remember, God is always with you and inside you.
When people try to convince you to hate others or yourself, it is a lie. You must love yourself unconditionally (#FlawsAndAll) to love others unconditionally (#FlawsAndAll). Do the work within, grow, evolve, and try again to be better than yesterday. Don't listen to the nay-sayers in your life circumstance. The nay-sayers are battling their own demons too. When nay-sayers lash out remember, it has nothing to do with you and everything to do with them.
Pray and you will manifest the heaven you seek here on Earth. You get to decide whether or not to feed the (#InnerDevil) or the (#InnerAngel). We all have a little of both. The one you feed is the one you become.
